Application Process
The 2021 call for Expressions of Interest for Rio Tinto Australia-Japan Collaboration Program Grants will open August 31, 2020 and close September 30, 2020. The grant Guidelines are available here. Please read them and the Advice for Applicants carefully before applying using the online form at the link below. Frequently Asked Questions are here. Applicants should initially provide an Expression of Interest (EOI): the online EOI application form below. Please read the full Guidelines document before submitting an EOI.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their EOI in early November 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit full applications by a date in late November. Invited applicants will have approximately 3 weeks to complete the full application. Final awards will be announced by the end of January 2021 and research should commence no later than March 2021.
